New England Model Aircraft Club invites you to the 40th Sailplane Expo.
January 25 to 27, 2020
Warrane Road Field, Armidale
Events will be F5J and, because it’s the 40th Sailplane Expo, a special Nostalgia class.
F5J will be flown to International F5J Rules. F5J will start at 0930 Saturday 25 and finish by 1300 Monday January 27.
Nostalgia will be any model designed prior to 1990. It will be flown to 6 mins Max in 9 min working time, and launch can be either by electric motor (cut off height 150m – height devices available for loan if you do not have one) or winch (Max 150m to turnaround). Nostalgia will be flown from 1100 until 1330 on Sunday January 26.
The field is available for practice Friday January 24, 2020
There will be a dinner with presentations and stories from Expo’s past on Saturday evening.
The field is on the left of Warrane Rd Dumaresq, approx 3.5km from the Booralong Rd turnoff.
